Primož Roglič is a Slovenian cyclist who currently drives for the UCI WorldTeam Team Jumbo - Visma. Roglič started his career as a skier, but then switched to cycling. He is currently the world's No. 1 road cyclist in the UCI world rankings, holding first place for a total of 65 weeks. He finished the season twice as a number one ranked cyclist. During the 2017 Tour de France, Roglič became the first Slovenian to win a Tour de France. In September 2019, Roglič won the Vuelta a España, becoming the first Slovenian to win a Grand Tour competition. He also finished on the final podium of the Giro d'Italia 2019 and the Tour de France 2020; in the second race, he became the first Slovenian to wear a yellow jersey, before losing to his compatriot Tadej Pogačar. He won Vuelta a España 2020, defending the title in 2019 .
